We discovered this in a booklet of songs by Bill Caddick
called ‘Veil’, illustrated by Wolverhampton artist John Crane
in 1974. In the early 1970s Crane published many songs by
Craddick and his contempories in the form of broadsheets.
We felt the subject matter of Bill’s song to be as relevant
today as it ever was.
